A Mother's Education Advent 2025

$15.00

"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when they are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!" —Charlotte Mason

As mothers, we have the unique and wonderful responsibility of creating a beautiful Christmas for our children. This is often tied with the tension of reminding them the true meaning of the day.

But the meaning of Christmas can’t be summed up with a single day. It’s an entire season of preparing our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ.

A Mother’s Education Advent is a call to mothers to prepare for Christmas with hopeful anticipation rather than stress and rush. It is a time to fill your hearts and minds with truth, beauty, and goodness.

This 5-week program is designed to help you cultivate a habit of learning, deepen your appreciation for living books, nature, and journaling, and build confidence in your own education. Each week includes:

  • Curated readings that bring wisdom and inspiration to your personal growth.

  • Reflection sheets to document your learning journey—celebrating successes and navigating challenges.

  • Community support through weekly Zoom gatherings and an interactive discussion group.

  • A weekly art print featuring prints to carry you through the advent season, offering a window into beauty and contemplation.

  • A Weekly Hymn study- to connect you with the Christians around the world in celebration of advent and Christmas.

  • Guidance on key notebooking practices, including a Book of Centuries, nature journaling, commonplacing, and written narrations.

    Reading List:
    In community:

  • A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Independently:

  • Savior of the World Poetry by Charlotte Mason

  • The book of Luke

  • Winter Fires: Christmas with GK Chesterton

My hope for you is that this program will help you settle in during the Advent season and spend time growing your own relationship with the Lord.

This is a digital product, no physical copy will be mailed to you
